Workshop Information
Treat yourself to a relaxing and creative day as Woodborough Garden Centre and Ebb & Flow come together to offer a unique, hands-on workshop experience. Create your very own scented candle and open succulent terrarium, beautifully combined into one eye-catching centrepiece to take home. Choose your signature fragrance, plant your own miniature succulent garden and get creative as you learn the techniques behind both crafts. This experience is the perfect opportunity to unwind, learn something new and get creative.
Your experience will begin at Ebb & Flow where you will be guided through the techniques behind creating a luxury scented candle. Concoct your signature fragrance from a carefully curated selection of scents – from grounded earthy aromas, or something playful and floral, or notes that are fresh and zingy – create something that is true to you. You will finish off by hand-pouring your own candle to finish off your unique piece.
Following your candle-making workshop, take a short stroll across the Yard to Woodborough Garden Centre for a 45 minute break. Your ticket includes refreshments, with nibbles straight out the café kitchen, and a hot drink. If you would like to make even more of your visit, you’ll have the exclusive option to reserve a table at our Strawberry Fields Tea Room & Bistro to relax over lunch or a light bite (lunch meal not included in the ticket price).
The afternoon continues with a terrarium workshop at Woodborough Garden Centre, where you will design and plant your own succulent garden inside a stylish glass vessel. Using specialist soil, decorative materials and a selection of beautiful succulents, you will learn how to layer, plant and care for your terrarium with guidance from our experts. Once completed, your handcrafted candle can be nestled inside to create a stunning centrepiece for your home.
Everything you need is included, so simply arrive and let your creativity (Ebb &) flow.
